The 39-year-old actress was a producer on the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel.
In one scene, Ben was seen totally naked as he got into the shower with co-star Rosamund Pike, who plays his wife Amy in the movie.
While the full-frontal footage was fleeting, the image of a nude Ben was shared worldwide on the Internet, much to the delight of his fans.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night, Reese was asked what she had thought about the scene.
"I mean, that scene went so fast that I didn't see it!" a blushing Reese replied.
Reese’s Hot Pursuit co-star Sofia Vergara, who also appeared on the programme, replied: “Are you complaining then'"
A giggling Reese then responded: “I wasn't complaining. I thought it was great. It's amazing. Congratulations, Jen Garner!"
Ben has three children with wife Jennifer Garner, to whom he has been married since 2005.
Reese’s most famous acting role is arguably that of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. She reprised her role as the ditzy but brilliant lawyer in the 2003 sequel Legally Blonde: Red, White & Blonde.
And during her appearance on WWHL, Reese admitted she had been approached about starring in a further follow-up movie.
"I don't know, yeah. Somebody pitched me an idea the other day," Reese said. She added that the title might be Legally Blonde: Behind Bars, adding: “Somebody thought it would be really funny if Elle went to jail.”
