Reality star Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar back in December 2013 after four years of marriage. However, despite the initial paperwork being entered, the 31-year-old and her athlete former spouse both did nothing to progress the file, apparently even discussing a potential reconciliation. At one point, the lack of activity in the case allegedly caused the judge to threaten to dismiss it entirely.
Now TMZ.com have claimed that both Khloe and Lamar have both signed the legal documents and filed them with the court last Friday. This paperwork, once signed by the judge, will officially end their marriage.
The outlet also claims that after much discussion, Khloe and Lamar have also reached a property settlement, meaning that their divorce could go through in just a few days' time.
Khloe and Lamar broke up amid rumours he had been unfaithful and abused drugs while they were together.
Following their break-up, Khloe insisted that she 'wouldn't change a thing' about her former marriage.
"Your life is meant for you to understand and process, not to make anyone else happy," she told Cosmopolitan magazine. "I don't have any regrets.you learn as you go."
Since her split from Lamar, Khloe has been in an on-off relationship with rapper French Montana. She is currently said to be dating NBA player James Harden. However, earlier this week, student Rochelle Relf claimed to have enjoyed a passionate tryst with James shortly after he was first seen out with Khloe.
The television star has yet to comment on the allegations.
Meanwhile, Lamar is working to rebuild his personal and professional lives following his split from Khloe.
