We heard a little bit about Ben's exes during Kaitlyn Bristowe's Bachelorette 2015 season — namely, how he was left heartbroken and rejected by a certain gal. So who was this lady in question?
Well, while doing a little background research on the 26-year-old software salesman when we first met him last year, we noticed more than a few photos of him with a pretty girl named Shaelin Jaid Adams.

According to Reality Steve, the two dated in 2012 when Ben graduated
from Indiana University, and according to social media, they were
seriously into one another.

Judging by the below tweet, Shaelin nabbed an internship in Austin, Texas in 2013, while Ben eventually relocated to Colorado, where he currently resides.

The last sign of them together was on a “date night” in May 2013, and according to Shaelin’s Facebook, she’s still based in Texas. Most likely, it was simply a matter of distance that drove them apart.
Nothing too dramatic, but we’re sure that Ben has since moved on nicely, considering it has been almost three years. Plus, he has 28 eligible ladies fighting over him these days, and we doubt any of them will make him feel "unlovable"!
