Sam Claflin is a first-time father

The Hunger Games star Sam Claflin and his actress wife Laura Haddock are first-time parents.
The couple revealed they were expecting their first child when Haddock stepped onto the red carpet with a large baby bump during the London premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 in November (15).
The Guardians of the Galaxy actress used a similar method to announce the arrival of the newborn by appearing at the Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California on Sunday (17Jan16) without a bump.
Her representative has confirmed to the MailOnline that the couple welcomed their first child in December (15). No further details were given. It seems the actress was too busy deciding what to wear for the event than how to unveil her post-pregnancy figure, as she shared a photo on Instagram ahead of the night contemplating which shoes to go for.
Sam, 29, met Laura at an audition, and they married in 2013. The handsome star has spoken at length about their relationship, and how they never played the games with one another in the lead up to their dating.
"Even better; I married her!" Sam grinned to German magazine Jolie when asked if he's met the love of his life yet.
"We never had to chase each other and felt the same things at the same time. We met at a casting and it was like an explosion."
The feeling was mutual and the theory it was fate that brought them together proved somewhat true when they bumped into each other on the train in London shortly after their first meeting.
